This exhibition catalog from 2011/2012 features texts by Lyle Rexer and Marco Tonellli.  The title includes Pediconi’s early work from several series (2006-2011) including Perfect (Mint), Thin bodies, Untitled, & Red all incorporating experiments with various organic materials used in the production of a cake.  Flour, egg, milk and honey combine with Pediconi’s use water resulting in her fluid video and photographic works. Her work aspires to couple the scientific observation of the behavior of materials and the challenge in capturing the process of creation.
