Serena Chopra’s The Tale of Time series in included in the new Partition Museum in Delhi, opening soon at the Dara Shikoh Library Building at Ambedkar University. The museum is the second Museum on the Partition of India, dedicated to creating a repository of artifacts, information and stories about the world’s largest migration.

Images from Serena Chopra’s Majnu Ka Tilla series are on view in Crossing Lines, Constructing Home: Displacement and Belonging in Contemporary Art at the Harvard Art Museums. The exhibition investigates two parallel ideas: national, political, and cultural conceptions of boundaries and borders; and the evolving hybrid spaces, identities, languages, and beliefs created by the movement of peoples.

sepiaEYE artists Annu Palakunnathu Matthew, Atul Bhalla, and Serena Chopra will be a part of the FotoFest 2018 Biennial. The theme for this year is INDIA - Contemporary Photographic and New Media Art focusing on 48 Contemporary Photographic and New Media Artists from India. Organized by Lead Curator Sunil Gupta and FotoFest Executive Director Steven Evans, FotoFest 2018 will be one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary photography by artists of Indian origin to be presented in the United States.
