Atul Bhalla’s Immersions will be a part of RAW: Craft, Commodity, and Capitalism. The exhibition features nine contemporary artists who work with a range of commodities as artistic material to explore the historical and contemporary effects of global capitalism. Their deliberate use of these materials acknowledges the complex and enduring legacy of capitalistic structures, such as slavery, colonialism, and industrialization, and their human and environmental impact.
